This year’s event will benefit the Diabetes Research Institute, which leads the world in cure-focused research.  This cause is extremely personal to us as it has touched the lives of our friends, family, clients, and board members.  The Inserra Family’s story was especially inspiring.  Bonnie and Lindsey are truly amazing people.  They introduced me to The Diabetes Research Institute, which we chose as our beneficiary because they are the largest and most comprehensive research center dedicated to curing diabetes.  They are truly the organization of choice for those who are serious, passionate and committed to finding a cure for their loved ones.

Since its inception, DRI scientists have made significant contributions to the field of diabetes, pioneering many of the techniques used in laboratories around the world. Having already shown that diabetes can be reversed through islet transplantation, the DRI is building upon these promising outcomes by bridging cell-based therapies with emerging technologies.  The DRI also collaborates with other leading researchers worldwide to develop and test new approaches to restore natural insulin production.

The mission of the Diabetes Research Institute Foundation is to provide the DRI with the funding necessary to cure diabetes now.  For the millions of families already affected by diabetes, the Diabetes Research Institute is the best hope for a cure.  Learn more at DiabetesResearch.org.
