Fashion & Beauty Week Kick-Off:  Tuesday, March 19, 2013 Fashion & Beauty Week – where fashion and beauty collide on the runway – is quickly becoming the most prestigious international event held in New Jersey.  The Runway Gala Event kicked off the week at The Venetian in Garfield, NJ and featured designer shows, a full cocktail dinner, Lord & Taylor beauty bar, luxury lounge brand experiences and more.  2013’s designer line-up included Monique Lhuillier, Kelsy Zimba, THEIA, Jay Godfrey, Melissa Odabash, Naven, Sue Wong, Adrian Alicea, Robert Graham and JS Collections.  Open to the public, attendees were invited to mingle with celebrities, stylists, fashion and beauty editors, athletes, industry icons and famous personalities.  Fashion & Beauty Week Nights’ Out:  March 20-24, 2013 FBW Nights Out is a newly added extension to the kick-off runway gala event that continues the celebration of the fashion and beauty industries, further engages the public and provides another avenue for giving back.  For the remainder of the week following the main event, department stores, boutiques, salons, spas and restaurants held in-store events, which included shopping, dining, services and more.  A substantial portion of the proceeds benefited the Diabetes Research Institute.
